Practicing many years seeking an “ah ha” experience I discovered that my meditation was not a building up of anything, achieving anything.
It was a de-construction, a tearing down, a dying. For how can one be born anew if one is first not willing to die?
We are all the One
When there is a realization that everything is One then the strivings of the “me” just trying to get another feel good experience ceases. Entering into the One, the incessant “Me” “My” and “I” dissolve into the eternal now. This self I’m so concerned about all the time evaporates into steam, the dream of the separate “self” reveals illusionary.
When I stopped doing it and just started being it the seeker disappeared.
Every experience that you will ever have is the One. Weather it is feeling bliss or going to the bathroom. The enlightened mind is already given it’s not found in fighting the darkness in the world it is found in a surrendering to, just relaxing, basking in the light.
When I stopped searching and just sat in silence and let it be, my salvation arrived. She’d been sitting on my lap all along, trying to pull the covers off my heart.
Want to find peace and joy? “Be”… peaceful and joyful. At first it may seem a pretending, disingenuous but as I continued to focus my mind on what is peaceful in the world I found peace everywhere. When I was looking for the joy of life it showed up radiating out expenentially, in the every moment.
One morning I decided to just say I love you, I love you, I love you. From the minuet I opened my eyes then as I made my coffee then as I showered. All through the morning during my drive to work. I think love heard her name so many times she just couldn’t help but join the party! Love showed her beautiful face and granted me the gift of seeing everyone, everything, through the eyes of the One heart. And a child like universal joy became the me.
Then I found my church, my family. Swimming around with everyone on the planet in the deep pools of my heart. Just partying down, splashing out light, doing swan dives into the universal collective stream.
One love, shining brightly, even in my disbelief, my biggest blunders, my judgements and learned fears.
Then my heart spoke saying,
♡ Surely there is something strange with your ideas about the God that you would think that our beloved would not be so universal, so playful….so tender, so inclusive, so beautiful, so intimate and loving.
